PEABODY AT THE SHELTER (2025 – present)
As the Student Director of the Peabody at the Shelter program, I organize monthly, interactive one-hour performances connecting Peabody Conservatory musicians with clients at the Helping Up Mission, an addiction recovery and housing program in Baltimore, MD. The program fosters community connection and healing while helping students explore the role of art in health interventions.

Since 2023, I’ve worked on and off as a performer, chamber music coach, and intern at the Opus Ithaca School of Music in my hometown, Ithaca, NY. In March 2025, I performed in the Opus Chamber Orchestra for the annual Concert for the Community, and in the summers prior to that, I worked at the Chamber Music Workshop, Piano Camp, and Jazz Camp.

BASS WORKS (2024)
I worked as an intern at Bass Works, a week-long camp for double bass students aged 6-20, in the summer of 2024. This included assisting faculty with lessons, classes, and rehearsals, assisting administrative staff with scheduling and set-up, and student supervision.

PEABODY STRING SINFONIA (2023 – 2024)
Previously, I served as a performer and co-director in the Peabody String Sinfonia, a student-led, conductorless string orchestra with a mission to bring live music to people in the Baltimore community who often do not have access, including those going through cancer treatment, incarceration, homelessness, hospitalization, addiction, and hunger. We traveled around the city bringing accessible programs of music to nursing homes, hospitals, women’s shelters, and libraries.

FINGER LAKES GRASSROOTS FESTIVAL ORCHESTRA
In the summers of 2023 and 2024, I performed as assistant principal bass in the annual Finger Lakes GrassRoots Festival Orchestra under the baton of Dr. Cayenna Ponchione-Bailey. The music and dance festival is a staple event in Upstate NY and has included a chamber orchestra in the band line-up for the past 20 years, bringing together local professional and amateur musicians to perform a mix of classical music and new compositions by local composers.
